Basil Pesto - very easy and very fresh

a fairly large handful of fresh basil leaves
1/2 clove of peeled garlic
small handful of pine kernels and some sesame seeds
6fl.oz olive oil and rapeseed oil (half and half)
salt and pepper

Put all the ingredients into a liquidiser, adding the oil.
Liquidise until a nice creamy loose paste.
Season to taste.

I dont like Parmesan, but you can add either grated parmesan or pecorino - to taste.
Dont add extra salt, if you add the cheese.

This is lovely served either on large thinly sliced tomatoes, pasta, jacket or mashed potatoes - whatever you fancy it with really :).
