Whole Baby Garlic

I bought these sweet baby garlics at Lidl. They are from Italy., - according to the label - they originate in China. I haven't seen them anywhere before. They are a small whole garlic bulb - not split into little cloves.

I cut one or two in half and roasted them with some potatoes - delicious! and so much easier to eat than having to squish out each clove.
